This policy covers the Ministry Base Windows app and this website. In short: your ministry content stays on your computer, and we do not collect it.
The app stores your data on your device
Ministry Base keeps your data in files on your own PC, in %LOCALAPPDATA%\MinistryBase. This includes sermons, lessons, calendar items, and and any member information you enter. The developer does not receive, collect, or sell this content.
As of the effective date, the app contains no analytics and no advertising.
Your content stays local
Ministry Base keeps your library on your own computer. The app does not send your sermons, calendar, members or any other content to the developer or to any server.
Sensitive information is your responsibility
Member information and notes can be sensitive pastoral information. You are responsible for what you enter and for who can access your computer. We recommend turning on device encryption (for example, Windows BitLocker or Device Encryption), using a password on your Windows account, and keeping your own backups.
This website
This website sets no cookies and uses no trackers, analytics or advertising. It loads no third-party scripts, fonts or images. The only third-party request is when you submit the waitlist form.
Waitlist email
If you join the waitlist, we collect your email address only to announce the launch of Ministry Base. The form is processed by [Formspree] (placeholder: replace with your actual form provider), which handles the submission on our behalf. We use your email for nothing else and do not sell or share it. To have it removed, email [[CONTACT EMAIL]] and we will delete it.
Children
Ministry Base is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Retention and deletion
Because your data lives on your PC, you control how long it is kept. To remove it, uninstall the app and delete the %LOCALAPPDATA%\MinistryBase folder. Automatic backups (the 10 most recent) are stored in the same location.
Security
We aim to keep the app simple and local to reduce risk, but no method of storage is perfectly secure. Protect your PC and your backups.

We may update this policy. The effective date above will change when we do, and we will post the new version on this page.
